By Shell30018 3 Years, 8 Months Ago Hi, I am 39 weeks pregnant and this morning took 2oz of caster oil in OJ as its supposed to be a sure thing to bring on labour - I've only had braxton Hicks contractions all day!!! Has any1 else done this and did it work??? By LuvableMommy 3 Years, 8 Months Ago i drank some when i was preg wit my first kid i was 38 weeks n bout 12 hrs later my water broke but it just depends on the persons body if it will work for labor or not. thats my opinon good luck!!!! how long ago did u take it? Really hope it works, the cocktail of that and OJ was discusting!!! gonna have a hot bath hopefully she'll make an appearance soon...like tonight!! thanks again and I'll let you know.
