RISK? By LilMomma09 3 Years, 7 Months Ago This is my third pregnancy, I have a 3 year old, and I lost my second child at about 12 weeks in to the pregancy. So naturally im afraid with this one im going on 16 weeks, and i have heard that im still not in the clear of a misscarriage till near the end of my second trimester. I dont think thats true...im confused?

Re:RISK? By Sydney Raye 3 Years, 7 Months Ago usually if there is going to be a miscarrage it will happen in the first trimester but they can still happen after that its just not as likely

Re:RISK? By buttercup21 3 Years, 7 Months Ago I remember I was so terrified of miscarriage becauseI had so much bleeding in the first trimester. The greatest risk is in the first trimester, but unfortunatly you can lose the baby at any time during your pregnancy.
Don't put a big black cloud over yourself by worrying. Think happy thoughts and take care of yourself. That's all you can do. This is a happy time, and the more relaxed you are the more relaxed and happy your baby is.

Re:RISK? By Seaason 3 Years, 7 Months Ago the risk is HIGHER in the 1st three moths.... but if u hav a history of miscarriage then the risk is always there... i have had 6miscarriages... most in the 1st trimester, but 2 where later ((5 & 6 mths along))...
the most important thing for u to do is not stress too hard... dont lift anything heavy from the ground.. if u MUST lift something like a basket of washing... lift it from a table height... if its on the ground LEAVE IT.. be very careful of certain food you eat dont overdo the exercise, just walk just coz we are in this wondefful modern age where science rules, doesnt mean pregnancy and child birth is completely risk free..... it is a really dangerous undertaking for a woman..
