Thanks everyone for your replies and advice! This really helped me. I guess I just need to try to not let it bother me because pretty much everyone deals with this at some when they are a parent. And I'm confident that I'm doing what's best for my baby. Thanks again guys, I really appreciate it!

Yes, you are doing exactly the right thing! Keep on breastfeeding! And don't start any solids yet! I would think 4mon would be the absolute earliest and 6mon on breastmilk is the best. He doesn't need the other stuff yet and if you gave it to him it could cause other issues possibly. I was usually the type to "take" what people said with a smile and not fire back much, but always ignored it if I thought it wasn't right for me. Try not to worry about it too much; you're doing great!

what the hell thats BS. I personally think breastfeeding is way easier I even seen a thing on the news that formula feeds babies are more obesist when they get older than breastfed babies. I hate when people give me advice cus they are MY children! A friend of mine said something really true God gave us our children cus he knew WE were the perfect parents for our children, Once when carter was a week old and I had to take him to the dr well I was very exhausted dealing with the newborn and a three year old and I was just done for the day and some man tried telling my son what to do when I had already told him it was ok (it was just walking on a path of rocks)well I snapped at him told him he was my child and let me parent my own child he said something about him having kids so I said you raise your kids and I will raise mine! maybe I was a little out of line but I really dont regret it! I wont even let people tell my kid what to do not even my own family (which is hard cus I live with mine) cus I not agree cus facts are some people may be ok with something and some wont cus every parent is different and parents differently so maybe the next time someone says something to you maybe you could just look at them and nicely say thank you but you parent your kids and I will parent mine or maybe say God gave me my child cus he knew I was the perfect parent for him
