K. I don't have a kid, or anything, puck, but sure, maybe it's boring for you, but surely you don't think it's boring for your child, at least I hope you don't, because have you considered the fact that, potentially, they enjoy the book/video? That should be enough to keep a smile on your face, seeing your child enjoying something. And no, as hopefully most of you have noticed (apparently not yourself), but I never said how long and when your children should watch videos, that research was not included in the idea I was trying to get across.

Anyway, I'm glad that most of you enjoyed it, if not all. I never meant for the list to be critiqued, I was just hoping it could stir up some conversation.

I will no longer take part in this conversation. If you wish to add on or recommend, go for it, but if you'd like to critique it, please do it to yourself because I'm not here to be bored with research (pardon me for that), but thank you anyway.

I'm all for showing initiative, but I'm not interested in my posts being critiqued from word to word.

Thank you, and enjoy the post.

i was not trying to be mean, i was giving you an honest opinion, which is why i thought you had posted all that, i mean why else would you? i was telling you that most of it was great for kids, and telling you exactly what my children who are in those age groups think of those things. this is what SHE(my 3 year old) thinks, not me. i was not being critical of anything you said, i was offering a few suggestions that i thought might help, not only you but others who are looking for acceptable media for their kids. i did not say you had to agree. i was stirring up conversation, exactly what you wanted. and this is not research, this is knowledge. if you did not want to know what others think, why would you ask. no need to be so gosh darn rude.

Instead of all the babyish videos i used to put the animal channel on for my oldest and she liked it better she also knew more about animals at 3 than most kids and she still watches it she is 10

i found the shows less annoying than some of the kids shows they have on now
