Yes, I agree with Scheever, maybe document his liquid intake for a few days, then make moderations. Also, provide him with as much variety of foods that you can, so he can pick and choose. Maybe he just needs new choices. Also, SIT AT THE TABLE TOGETHER AS A FAMILY, AND EAT TOGETHER. Put him in a highchair right by the table. No yelling, or pestering allowed, just quiet, calm conversation. Tune him out entirely, after having given him a variety of foods to try. Give him some of the same foods you are having, but also add some of these finger foods.

You could try:
-Cube cheddar cheese into dice size pieces
-Cube apples/watermelon/cantelope
-Raisins
-Frozen Peas (still frozen)
-Triscuit crackers, with melted cheese on it (do in microwave)
-soup, with little fish crackers,
-spagetti
-grate raw carrot and apples together,
-give him trees (raw brocolli) and dip
-My sons favorite meat, was liver (baby calf - deveined), cut into french fry strips, coat with flour & seasononing salt, fry with bacon, onions. He just loved these liver strips at that age.
-potatoes, sliced really thin (whole with skin), toss with olive oil, spread on cookie sheet, sprinkle with Seasoning salt, bake 30 minutes. Kids love these, homemade chips. Sprinkle cheese on top, for something different.

The worst thing you can do is to make a big deal out of it, and to harp at the poor child. Don't make him "sit there till its all gone". No snackies after meals and control the fluids intake, if it exceeds daily amount recommended.
