i was having a rough day the other day, my son has chicken pox and im SOO tired lately that by the time i finish some housework i just wanna sleep, so my hubby lets me sleep but doesnt keep on the kids about their mess, so when i woke up i had to start again, i was beginning to feel really unappreciated and that got me down..

later that night i was watching something on TV and heard a woman say,
"mother is god in the eyes of a child"
and maybe its the hormones but it brought me to tears and made me realise that no matter how much mess the kids make or how they fight amongst themselves or just plain drive me to distraction, they love me..

so i just wanted to say that if u ever feel like ur kids dont like u or u just dont feel like anything u do is appreciated, think about that saying and it puts it all in perspective...

it did 4 me anyway..

Thats beautiful, and thank you for sharing that with us. Just think in about 18 years from now, you will miss the messes, miss the kids being around you all the time, and miss the noise and happy sounds surrounding you everyday. Once they leave for college, its just you, with silence, and everything in its place, but the life of your party have moved on to greener pastures. Enjoy it, while you have it.
