I'm not sure if this kid did it or what. A part of me thinks, how could a child ever even THINK of doing that to his father? Then I wonder if there was abuse, neglect, et cetera, going on. Who knows, maybe we'll never know for sure.

I think there is a lot more to this than they have come out with. I saw the boy's confession on TV and he seemed overly calm and almost like he was just saying what the police wanted to hear. He was interviewed for hours without representation which is highly questionable on the part of law enforcement. Also, if he did do it then there had to have been some severe abuse or psychological issues but the child had no record of any problems anywhere. Something just seems "off" about the whole thing.

i have. there is obviously more to this than is on the surface. an 8 year old wouldnt kill anyone without purpose. im guessing something horrible was going on, for him to have premeditated.

Thats what it looks like i heard that the little boy didnt have family or a lawyer present are they allowed to do that? I always thought you had to have someone there especially if your a child
