Something every new babyhold member should read.
By izzzyxx 3 Years, 3 Months Ago
There's a few things I've noticed, when some people come onto this site, and their new and everything.. We always never really know their "story" and when we do, They end up changing it twenty times? Then they get all mad and rude because we call them out, and call them fakie, if you're a fakie, and you don't want to be caught, I suggest you NOOOOT change your story and don't steal pictures off the net, and say that those kids are yours, and don't use ultrasound pictures from different years.

Some things that annoy me most are.. when people can't spell. Seriously. If you don't know what to spell google it? Use a dictionary. Something! It's SOOO annoying when you go to someone's post and they can't even spell 'triplets' right. Obviously.. You're NOT pregnant with tripilots.

Another thing is when people try to act 'gangsta' the last I checked this is a baby forum, not a 'hood'. Typing like "dis" does NOT make you sound cool, makes you sound like your uneducated. <-- Is that even a word? Please please, don't type in caps when you make a post.. IT'S ANNOYING TO TRY TO READ WHAT YOU TYPE. When all of it happens to be uppercase. I'm sorry for sounding rude or whatever, and I know I'll get bashed for this.. But I'm sorry. I know some of this annoys others also.. Somebody would of said something sooner or later..

But if you are a new member, don't take this the wrong way if you are 'real' I'm not trying to make it sound like EVERY single new member is a fakie, Its just most are,

-- I also think that if you're twelve you have no right to be on this site unless you're writing a story and you need help with names. PLEASE don't fake being pregnant ANYMORE. This site is for the writers, the moms, and moms to be. & Anyone who wants to join the community for advice, if you need the advice just make a post, most are glad to help. Don't fake a pregnancy to get simple advice.

Couldnt have said it better myself! Its one thing to make a typo but to spell believing believeing just makes you look stupid & as Bella said not all new members are fake & everyone is given a chance so long as their story is so fake you cant help but poke holes in it

Oooh, I got some more.
If you talk to someone in PM, keep your story the same as on the board. Don't post in your profile your expecting baby number 3 and then tell people that your hoping to get preggo with your third child. Someone did this and I took screen shots of their profile while I was PMing because something didn't ring true. Later they changed their profile to reflect they were "trying" for their 3rd kid.

Don't post that your expecting your seventh child and then list your kids as Midge, Michael, Lucy, Phil, Donna, Colby, and Logan. Hello, if your expecting your seventh, you can't have seven already!

Dis p0st b3 k00l!

I totally agree with you, although I am new (sorry if I did anything annoying, just let me know!) I won't take offence, because I do type in caps sometime. I came here from babynamegenie.com there we so many fakes! There we polls like,

I was a part of a few baby name forums and this is by the the best. It has the most honest, real and polite women on any forum I've ever been a part of, and I'd like to keep it this way. I've been an daily poster on this forum for the past couple of months and have noticed the same type of things. It ruins our "image" to the new posters who are real.

Hello I'm new to this site. I agree with you. I'm not a mother yet, but I'm here to learn new things and get advice. I don't want advice from fakers. I'm not bothered or mad about your post. I have about a year until we ttc, but I think being here is giving me knowledge I will need when I do start. I can't wait...... Gl luck everyone else.

one year until we ttc
