Ok, So im 16,and i know that is like REALLY young to even think about having a child, but i REALLY want one.

I am more of a parent to my lil bro and sis the our dad or there mom is, and I help parent the foster kids that live with my mom.

So i guess what im asking, is that do you think its smart for me to get pregnant at this age?

I would have no trouble with the money part of it, as i work two part time jobs.

I'm 16 too, and practically raise my little brother (he's 13 though) but i have since my parents were divorced, cause my dad (who we live with) is always working! And i want a child of my own really bad too...But i know i couldn't handle a baby right now...

Do i think it's a smart thing to do? No, i'd say wait a couple more years to you are out of college (atleast and hopefully) have a job and can finacially support the baby... That's just my opinion, though!

I just LOVE little kids, and i feel like there is soo much more love that i could give.

The scary thing is that my boyfriend wants a kid too. But I think that if I did get pregnant my mother would kill me.

I am being 100% serious when I say this.

Work at a daycare. You can get your little-kid/baby fix without having to be a mother.

i agree..i'm 17, and as much as i really do want to have kids, i know the age is still to young and there's bound to be unseen consequences. It wouldn't hurt or kill to wait a little longer till you're slightly older.

For me, i'm taking Early Childhood Education as a course of study(as of today ). There'll be attachments to preschools so i'll meet the kids and have fun.
