When do you think is a good age to get babies ears pierced.I have been thinking about getting my babies ears pierced but don't know if maybe it is too early.

I hate it when people get their babies ears peirced. It makes me so mad. So i suggest when they're old ebough to ask you they want it done. Babies dont care about their years! I got mine done at 13!

My daughter was about 2-3 months when I got them pierced. She didn't cry or anything it was very fast and she loves them now, she's 3.

My daughter was 3 months old. I see nothing wrong with getting them pierced at a young age. If they grow up and dont want to wear earings then so be it. Its just like a little shot they may cry at first but as soon as you pick them up they are fine. My daughter was more mad that we held her head still than getting the piercing.

not a Mum, but i think i would wait till slightly a later age till i get my baby's ears pierced. I would want to enjoy my baby's 'natural' look for as long as possible..haha i agree that all little girls look pretty with their studs and all..but for a baby..it just wouldn't look 'natural'..but this is just IMO..

I wouldn't get my baby's ear pierced. I don't even know it will be in style or not when she (or he) grows up. And if it's not in style or they don't want it as older teens or adults, they have to walk around with holes in their ears forever? I had my ears pierced at 12 with my best friend, and it was very special for me and something I remember. It was exciting and Mom took us out shopping for earrings afterwards! I think I'd do it that way. Aside from that is it practical? I mean, kids can play rough, what if the earring gets ripped out and she has a permanently disfigured ear????? What's the rush? Are you doing it for her? Or you?
