So I know this is a pregnancy website and all. But I just have a few questions and a little vent. My boyfriend is the father of the baby. We've had SEVERAL issues. I'm not even exaggerating. We have broken up and gotten back together, hoping things would change. He promised me no matter that he would be around for the baby and I. Well, while we were on our 'break.' He decided he was going to see other people. So I did the same. He came home tonight telling me we're getting a paternity test because this baby isn't his. The baby is his! I only hung out with other people. I was pregnant at the time. But he did sleep around with this girl. She claims she's pregnant also with his baby. We can't agree on any names. He suggested Carriebeth today. He told me that we HAVE to name her that. I'm just frustrated with everything. So what should I do? Wait around for him to make up his mind about being a mature adult? Or leave?
I would appreciate any insight you might have.

If I were you, I would leave him, and I would also do the paternity test just so he will have to pay child support and also slap him in the face for doubting you. He doesn't sound like a very responsible person to me, because just as he is having one girl pregnant already and he still decided to impregnate another one.

For the name, I believe both parents should agree on it, not just one. And I don't quite understand either, why does he even bother about the names when he doesn't believe the baby is his. If he thinks that's someone else's kid, he should go and force that other girlfriend of his to name their kid that way. Weird.

Do the paternity test, get legal child support ordered, and schedule visitations (supervised until he is proven able). If he chooses to be a part of the childs life, that is great. If he decides to be a deadbeat dad, cut him out of both lives until he is ready to commit to fatherhood.

As for your relationship, sounds like you are in love with the man you want him to be. Hate to break it to you, but that man doesn't exist. They don't change unless they want to, and what he is telling you with his actions is he don't want to. Kick him to the curb as far as a relationship with you goes. Good luck.

He doesn't make sense. I decided I would sleep in the living room so we could have our space. He came out and started saying how I was being immature. He told me that it's my fault we got into this argument. So I told him he can go live with his girlfriend. He just glared at me. He leaves for work in a few hours. I plan on packing my stuff up and staying with the relatives until I can get my own place. I just wish things would of worked out this time. I don't want to be a single mother.

Yeah, he's called me a few times to say that he's sorry. He's been drinking and he seems really upset that I left him. I'm already losing sleep over this. In a way, I hate him. But yet I love him? This isn't fair. I guess it's a good thing we didn't rush into getting married.
