And, yeah, it's sort of a pain at the beginning of a school year to be called by your first name when you go by your middle, but it doesn't take people *too* long to adjust. Good luck with working with your husband. Maybe he'll come around and go for it for a mn. I am not fond of George either. What about the grandfather's other name? well, I know it may not sound that great but just think it probably has some sentimental meaning to him and his culture. Just embrace it. you can always name your next little boy something else. I am naming our first son after my husband its not so bad. Who would want to ruin a family tradition? George isn't a bad name just choose the middle name. Either way its your decision but do you want to be the first to ruin genrations of a family tradition. On another note you may not be your husband culture but that will be part of who your child is and thats why it should be important. Good luck!
