So, me, my brother and my dad went to Golden Corral after church and were waiting outside for my grandparents. There was this woman sitting down and talking on her cell phone, saying something about how she wasn't going to start anything cause she might start having contractions again, and then she lit up a cigarette and stared smoking! I was shocked, and furious! I wanted to go to her and say, "um, aren't you pregnant? So why the heck are you smoking!?" And her friend was just sitting there smoking with her. How on earth can a mother do that?? My mother definitely isn't the best best mom, and she smoked before she was pregnant with me and most of my life, but she quit the moment she found out she was pregnant. I mean what does everyone else think about that??? It's horrible!

Well, I would rather see a mom smoking than drinking or doing crack. I mean, they say that it caused low birth weight and all, but my mom smoked all throughout her pregnancies and all of us weighed over 6lbs and my little sis was 4 weeks early. I was 9lbs 8.5 ounces, I mean if she hadn't been smoking, would I have been a 15lber?

I don't think it is right, but I don't think it is the worst vice that you can keep while preggo.

I'm eighteen, and I've been smoking since I was 16. I smoked through my entire pregnancy last year, my baby was 6lbs, 3ozs.. Perfectly healthy.. And so far this pregnancy is going good too.

I hate it when I see people smoking while pregnant. I don't believe in it, definitley not. It may not be the worst thing but it's still bad.

It's disgusting.
