There are many reasons for women to have an abortion. Its a personal decision, that only 1 person can make, the woman herself.
A lot of pregnancies are unexpected and in some circumstances abortion is the best option.
I can think of a couple possibilities of having an abortion. It may be a teenage pregnancy or it simply may be that the child won't be coming into the best circumstances in a family life, or if they're advised by their doctor to save her life or the child's life if he/she will have a disability.

I personally wouldn't have an abortion as I couldn't do that, I'm not that sort of person, but the mother has to be in the right frame of mind with all her decisions, even if she will regret it later in life.

The debate of abortion had been going on for years. Your not the first one to have issues with it, and you won't be the last.

For a woman to give birth to a baby that she does not want, or cannot look after, is that really the right thing? Sure, you can always say that she could birth it and put it up for adoption... but there are millions of unwanted children in the world. The birth of that baby is robbing another child away from the chance of having a family.

Everyone prefers to adopt children when they are babies after all...

There are millions of circumstances, you can't only think about your own. (Well, at least that's what my mother always said, he he.)

Personally, I am pro-choice and have no problem whatsoever with abortion.

As for the part about God, not everyone believes in a God. It's like the saying goes, eh? Keep your rosaries, off' my ovaries. ;]

I am pro choice for the world, but pro life for myself. I could never have an abortion unless the doctors could say 100% that my child would be born in horendous pain and die a horrible death.


So, what next? We have covered smoking while pregnant, now we have abortion, my guess is a teenage pregnancy topic will be next.

The arguement against the immorality and illegality of abortion is simple, short and largely unoriginal. Everyone has there own opinions on it and to be honest all have been voiced and heard a thousand times before!
I personally would not get an obortion, but who are you to sit on this site and open your big mouth about people "murdering" and "sentencing there unborn child to death without knowing why does he/she has to suffer the consequence of his/her stupid parents that do not know how to grew up a child"?
There are plenty of reasons why couples/ females consider obortion, as stated by all the other ladies.

i do not want to start an arguement as i think everyone is entitled to there own opionions on this topic. but i just suggest this is a touchy subject with many women. you do not know peoples backgrounds, histories or family stories to sit in front of your computer and call women "murders".

Well, for example... Forcing a woman, who doesn't want a child, to "be responsible" by raising a child that she never wanted isn't a totally super idea. It'll scar the child something awful.

I'm pro-choice. I have no buisiness sticking my nose where it's not wanted and I'm not about to tell someone else what they should do with their body. Personally, I couldn't abort my own child, but that's me. I'm not going to look down on someone who decided she wasn't fit to be a parent or whatever. It's not my place to judge.
