How do you gals feel about the name?
Im worried it will be confused with all the Aidens out there...

It's okay, I like Griffin better though. What you can do is not tell them your plans for a name, then they can't bother you about it and when the baby gets here then they can't make fun of him for it. That's what my parents did. My grandparents hated my older brother's name, but they got used to it because it fits him so well. This is your baby, not theirs, and if they don't like his name than that sucks for them, doesn't it?

If their opinion matters that much, ask everybody for a list of suggestions and go from there.

Griffin may be a name you like. But, really when you say it, it sounds funny .Try yelling the name out of your door. Like you are calling him home(A common test to see if a name is suitable) You will see that it sounds like you are calling a pet. Caden is a way better name but, I do see what you are saying with all the other "Aiden"s. I think you would do better starting at square one.

Caden is great! Way better than Griffin.
