Okay, my son is seven months and I was wondering if he is to young to start potty training. I am having another baby in August and i just wanted to get an early start. I know it will take him a while to catch on and I am not going to pressure him or myself if he doesn't catch on right away. I was just thinking that it would be a good idea to let him get an idea of using the restroom on his little pot. Any suggestions?

7 months is way too young....if he is not walking..if he can not tell you that he has to use the bathroom then it is way too young...boys are harder to potty train..sometimes boys don't get potty trained till 3 years old,,dome at 1 and a half...but 7 months is really early to start training!

Thanks, I think three years old is way to old to start training. By that time they should be able to change their own diaper. lol

lol...sometimes boys are lazy and just don't want to do it...my son was potty trianed at 2 years old...but 7 months is realy young...if u want to u can message me!

YOu can try....not sure how much success you'll have. The youngest I've heard a child being potty trained was 16 months.

Wait Until he can at least crawl if not more- 1 year is you can start sitting him on it, and you never know, but they need to be able to move/control their bladder. It is possible they cannot talk as they can send other signals they need to go, but bladder control/ muscle function on a seven month old? A it unlikely.
