Around 6 months probably. It's just bread and he'll most likely slobber on it pretty well until it's all soggy (like babies do) and then it's not really a huge choking hazard when he does swallow it. Unless Noah is the type who likes to inhale his food. LOL.

All older women I know keep telling me I should give him a crust, I have done it before... but ended up taking it off him because I was worried about the whole getting soggy and choking thing lol I just dont think he is ready! Not unless I watch him and take it off him when it gets soggy... which he doesnt like! lol

A lot of people told me to give Charlie toast crust but I was really hesitant. I guess she was around 8 months when I left her with a friend of mine (he was her God Father) and his mom. I remember walking into his apartment and Charlie was gnawing on a pizza crust, I freaked out. I just ran up to him and started yelling at him, and his mom who was sitting right next to him was saying oh calm down it's fine blah blah. The funny thing now is Charlie eats pizza backwards like she eats the crust first because she likes the crust so much. I think as long as they're well supervised it's fine, with my younger kids, because we were older and weren't leaving them with crazy friends of ours that would feed them pizza crust we actually tried the toast crust thing but we used bread with unbleached flour.

Yeah, he'll most likely just slobber on it for a while before he swallows it. That's what Mikahlean did. As long as you break it into small pieces, and sit there with him, he'll be fine.
