teething By Teenmum 1 Year, 9 Months Ago So, Kate has been extremely fussy the past week and I can't figuare out why..then one day I was breastfeeding her and she bit me and I felt a tooth! She's only 3 months old! Mia didn't start teething untill she was atleast 6 months old, if that. Has anyone else had their baby teeth this early? I feel like shes just too tiny to be getting teeth now!
Thanks in advance! Chelsea

Re:teething By Alisamber 1 Year, 9 Months Ago The earliest I've heard of a first tooth coming in from someone I know is 4mon, but I guess it's possible! Yeah, there have even been a few babies who were born with a tooth!
Are you sure it was a tooth, though? Did you look and feel with your finger? It could have just been her pinching you with her "gums".

By lotsakidza 1 Year, 9 Months Ago My uncle was born with a tooth!
My daughter got a tooth at six months (the youngest of my girls ) and that was when I quit breastfeeding. I tried, and tried, and tried.....but she was a VERY good biter!!

Re:teething By BridgetKatharine 1 Year, 9 Months Ago Some baby are actually born with a tooth already. I have an aunt who told me that her daughter starting teeth around 3-4 months old..
Just breast feed as much as you can. I quit after a month. I just couldn't do it, I hated it. My dr said the first month is pretty important but after that formula works just as well.

Re:teething By Alisamber 1 Year, 9 Months Ago Good for you, Teenmum, for wanting to keep on nursing! *Usually* you can just keep on going after a couple firm "No's" and they still want their milk. They realize that teeth aren't for biting mommy when no food is involved. I think it's actually a sweet teasing game for them, like you tickling them or playing peekaboo. They get a reaction from you and think it's hilarious. Maybe just immediately switch sides or stop for a couple minutes and hopefully she'll want to go back to drinking her milk. ?
