I just wanted to say that I really admire the fact that you are encouraging a relationship between your daughter and her grandmother, despite your strained relationship and personal feelings. That's really great of you...and shows how much you love your children

I'm happy everything has worked out for you, Leia. I'm also happy your hubby insisted your MIL pay for the test. Hopefully now everything will settle down and you can have some peace in your lives.

Awe, wow....that's so crappy of your mother in law! I didn't know anything about the initial situation either...but I am glad to hear that things are going better! It will probably be rocky for a little while...but I'm sure things will get better! Hang in there.

I remember reading about your situation before. I'm glad it's worked itself out a bit. It must be nice to finally shut your MIL up!! It's also very nice your MIL is trying to form a relationship with your daughter.
