I was wondering what themes you will be doing for your baby's nursery?

I'm planning a really bright Dr.Seuss One Fish Two Fish themed nursery, using the below bedding and furniture .. http://www.seussland.com/drseussonefishtwofishnurserybedding.html

I love the Dr. Seuss stuff, it so gorgeous. x

I want a different nursery theme for each child I have. I'm planning on having four kids, with these themes - will change in the future.

1st child: A safari theme. (Has been this for a while, don't see it changing). Unisex theme.
2nd child: Winnie the Pooh - girl. Snoopy - boy.
3rd child: Fairies - girl. Noah's Ark - boy.
4th child: Under the ocean - unisex.

Agreed Emily, it's so cool haha.

Now that we've moved, Calix and Vienna won't have to share a bedroom so we're planning on painting Vienna's nursery (which will be her bedroom until she moves out) bright pink with a mural on one wall. I'm quite artistic (oh yes) so I'll probably paint it myself. I'm gonna paint a green mountain scene with a rainbow and flowers everywhere and I'm just gonna make it really girly.



Calix's bedroom is Ben 10. How could it be anything else? Like duh.....everything has to be Ben 10. Get with it ladies......

I like the Dr. Seuss theme; it's really cute!!!

I don't have kids yet, but when I was a baby, I had a Winnie the Pooh themed bedroom. Blue wallpaper with a Winnie the Pooh border, a regular wooden crib with a Winnie the Pooh liner thing so I wouldn't bump my head, and a rocking chair with a Pooh pillow and blanket on it.

With my daughter we didn't do a nursery till after she was born! haha she was like 6 weeks maybe or 2 months before I even ordered her bedding and we chose a purple crib set from an american store we had to have a parcel shipping company send to us! Haha, not doing that again! We got it from pottery barn kids. It's their fresh floral nursery if you wanna go look at it.

Then when we have our second baby I found bedding from mothercare I like either Humphrey's Corner or the Baby K! They are gender neutral which I love since we won't find out the gender till the baby is born. Not 33 weeks like we did with Sophia! I couldn't wait those 2 more weeks! haha!

Last 2 are the two we like for our future child we are soon to start trying for!

I'm not too big into themes myself.

I've chosen the fabric for the bedding and curtains and things (I have one picked out for each gender...which I will hopefully learn in 10 days!), and will have to make these things myself. I am really looking forward to that part!

I'll decorate the rest of the room based on the fabric. Both DH and I are very artistic/crafty...so this is going to be one of my favorite parts!
