Just wondering your thoughts on first hair cuts. When did your children or any children you know have their first hair cut? Did you or a hairdresser cut it?

I'm thinking of cutting Noah's hair, as it has just started to slightly grow over his eyes and is annoying him unless it is pushed out of the way.

I took my son to Fantastic Sam's when he was about 18 mths old. His hair was curly so it wasn't like it was past his shoulders or anything. I remember the stylist asking if I really wanted it cut, because it was so pretty. Lots of coppery colored whorls! It really was exquisite!

My baby girl hasn't hit that stage yet! Although she has more hair then your son and she's 4 months (or so it looks by your profile picture)! haha! My daughter has long, brown gorgeous hair! I'm not cutting her's till I have to!

My friend has a 2 year old boy and she hasn't gotten his hair cut yet! he's has the prettiest blonde hair. It's like the colour of bleached hair. Definitely a toe head and it goes a little past his shoulder

My son's father had beautiful white blonde hair as a child (turned light brown later), and it was long, like a few inches past his shoulders long! His mother styled it, put him in a dress, and took his picture right before his haircut appt! I've seen the photograph! His hair really was gorgeous!

My nephew Mason is the same age as Noah, and has had his hair cut a few times. I think my sister first had it cut when he was around 10 months old . If I was her I would have grown it longer and had it cut when he was around 2-2 and half.

If his hair is annoying him - having to push it back out of the way - I was say book an appointment, have your hairdresser just trim it, it doesn't have to be super short, just enough so it isn't bothering Noah.

My cousin Cooper had his first haircut a couple months ago and he was about 12-13 months.
