Re:when should they...

Thanks! Her mum, which is my aunt, isn't worried she thinks she's fine but I found it odd that she's 2 and not potty trained, lol . I find it wired that at two she can say that she's needs to be changed and when you change her and tell her not to move she obeys. After I changed her I told her if she tells people she needs a bum change she should use the potty. She just looked at me lol.
Thanks again!

My oldest wasn't potty trained until after she was 3. She was pretty stubborn about the whole thing. She caught on real quick when we took her pull-ups away, though. I think she was fully potty trained within 3 weeks after we switched her to big girl undies.

My 2&1/2 year old isn't potty trained yet, either. She's just not real interested yet. She'll fetch diapers and throw them away and everything, but she's not overly interested in actually sitting on the potty.

It's also perfectly normal that your cousin isn't speaking completely clearly either. Most 2 year olds don't talk very clear. Kaia still doesn't talk very clearly, but most people can understand what she's trying to say. For example, when she tries to say High School Musical (one of the favorite movies in our house) it comes out like she's saying "Bicycle, Bicycle." It's just too cute. Aubie was speaking very clearly at that age, but she was always very advanced in speech. My hubby and I swear she said "thank you" after we changed her diaper when she was 4 months old.

Your cousin is completely normal and will do things at her own pace. If your aunt isn't concerned about it, then neither should you be.
