Hi ladies! I was just wondering how soon you knew you were pregnant. Did you know you were before you took an HPT? What symptoms did you have that told you you were? Thanks

With my daughter Tori I knew pretty soon. I felt really tired for a week straight! I love spaghetti, always have, and my husband made it especially the way I like and it made me sick. Took a HPT and came up positive, so we made an appointment...and I was almost exactly a month pregnant. So wasn't long.

I knew pretty soon as well... I had my suspicions before taking an HPT. It's actually all pretty well documented here on babyhold!

I felt extremely groggy and tired all the time. Also, I became carsick for the first (and second) time in my entire life! I knew something was up when that happened. I am due in November... and I still get extremely car sick!

How soon did you guys start experiencing breast or nipple tenderness if any?

With my first one breast tenderness was my biggest cue that I was pregnant. My breasts used to become tender and heavy just before my period (and I had a somewhat irregular period, so that's how I knew it would start soon), but when I got pregnant with my oldest it just kept getting worse and my period never came. So I tried to think about when my last one was and figured it was a couple weeks past due, so I told my then boyfriend (now husband) that I thought I was pregnant and we went together the next day to get a test. It came back positive almost as soon as I had peed on the stick. I was probably around 7 weeks along by the time I figured out I was pregnant, 9 weeks when I went to my first doctor's appointment.

The soonest I ever "knew" I was pregnant, though, was with my son. Our youngest daughter was just a couple months old, I was breastfeeding, and I was on birth control, so I really shouldn't've been pregnant or had any reason to think I was, but I'd been having dreams about having a little boy and just couldn't shake the feeling that I was. I bought and took a test that came back positive, then called my husband. I was only about 3 or 4 weeks along with him when that happened.

With Marina I didn't know right away at all because she was so unexpected. I was almost 4 months along before I took a test and that's only because my bestfriend made me. With this second baby me and my husband starting talking about another baby but we weren't really trying, when I was like a few weeks late I took a test and it was positive I was 8 weeks then.
