we had a quiet weekend around my house. The kids spent the weekend with their grandparents ( my ex-husbands family). They take them about once a month and the kids and grandparents have a blast. My hubby and I did housework, started getting stuff ready for the baby, and generally relaxed. I am still in my pj's today lol. The girls are watching Enchanted and resting, and my hubby took my son to baseball practice. A nice relaxed weekend

Today, my children played outside a lot with our other neighbors that are kids. We also went to a local Memorial Day parade in our town.
The weather was great today, so we also had a BBQ for dinner.
On Saturday and Sunday, I did some spring cleaning. But I don't know if you could call that fun.

My husband had to work 2nd shift. But we BBQ for lunch and Morgann (18mo.) and I played outside when she got up from her nap.

i live in canada so we dont have memorial day... can someone fill me on on what it is anyway? we've been enjoying the sun tho. went to the waterslides and had a bbq while the kids ran around the yard.

Memorial Day is a national holiday dedicated to all of the men and women in the armed forces who have given their lives for their country over the years. Most towns have parades and other events honoring the fallen. We also have Veterans Day which honors all the men and women in the armed forcing who have served.
