My son is 1 1/2 years old and very bright but we are having some trouble getting him to eat anything other than fruit, or chicken nuggets and fries. we tried taking him to a restaraunt once and he threw his entire plate at the waiter. i was so embarrassed. i told the waitor not to pick it up and made him. he didnt throw anything else on the floor after that.

Yes!!!

I lost count, one of the times was about 2 months ago we went out for a family meal at our local harvester and took all the boys it was only me and my husband and i started really well. I took my oldest boys up to the salad cart to see if there was anything they wanted and my eldest threw his salad into the air and it went everywere and then the second copied and they turned it into a game, i stood them ethier side eachother and told them calmly that they were not to do it and it was very very wrong and because they had done it they were not having any salad then took them by the hands and sat them back at the table when my husband and i then ate our salad they apologised.

But you have gotta admit they are funny

i embaressed my mother when i was bored in the supermarket so i started saying silly things and putting random things in the cart and my mother said rather loudly "Gosh Chelsey why cant you be normal" just as we walked past the condom stand so i grabbed a box and at the top of my voice said "Well mother you should of used condom's 15 years ago!" and chucked the box in the cart. I think she was embarresed.

When my daughter Lowie was 3 year old we were walk through the mall and she saw an African American woman and asked why she was pooh-pooh colored. I was so embarrassed that I just walked the other way. We lived at the time in a very small town about 300. I did not know what to say.

Nah, my children have never embarrassed me. I used to care a lot about what people think about me, but ever since giving birth, I have matured a lot and I just don't care what others think anymore. Having a child come out of you and have people witness it is enough to make you feel more "open", less shy, and less caring of other peoples' opinions.

Besides, my kiddies are well behaved

And I think most people have the common sense to know that all little kids are fussy, so they shouldn't and wouldn't judge!

This took place about 19 years ago and you have to realize we were from a small town. One day we went to a Meijer store to do some shopping over one hour away and we were there as a family and as were standing in line among a bunch of people all of a sudden my daughter says, " mommy look at all the Cosby's"! Yes you can imagine, were cauc. and she was looking at African American's. This isn't meant to offend anyone, but you have to imagine it was funny, and then we went on to explain to her that they werent Cosby's they were people just like us only a different skin color. She was only three, now she is almost 23 and she is 28 days away from her due date to give us a grandbaby girl!! Now talk about embarrassing! It was fun to remember that!!
