I was just wondering what all you do during the day when you're at home with your child?

im on leave for a year, so i guess that qualifies. my 3 year old daughter helps me tidy up, we colour, we bake, make jell-o, go to the park, she goes to kindergym twice a weeks and tee-ball on saturday mornings. i got her a new dolly and some accesories when her baby brother was born, and she takes care of dolly while i take care of him. my husband is off work at 12:30(he starts between 2 and 4am)and he showers when he gets home, we have lunch together, and then they will go to the petting zoo or the beach, and the baby and i will either nap, or go with them depending on how i feel(if ive been up all night). i know its sounds pretty dreamy, but there are still the tantrums and being obnoxious for attention like any 3 year old whos no longer the center of the universe. she's getting used to it thought, the baby is 6 days old and the preschooler is getting easier to deal with. phew, that was long-winded. (p.s. i havent seen another adult today, im desperate for big people interaction)

Well my kids and I always have a lot of activites planned everyday.
We will either bake cookies or something.
We color or play with playdough (edible), paint outside, do crafts, play with their toys
We go to the park, get involved with playgroups, so swimming, go to the library, go for walks
We have a picnic lunches on sunny days

I will have my oldest child tell me what he would like to do and we will pick things off his list.
The sky is the limit what you can do with your child.

I cram everything that they want to do and I still have time each and everyday to clean up the house.

I teach my daughter, yep homeschool! We do lots of suff, cook, clean, paint, park, swim, karate, class, movies, the list is endless. Just have fun! And remember that you do not have to do only kid things, they love to do our things well, let them help pay the bills, help with cooking, grocery shopping, putting the grocerys away, make your everyday things fun for them.

Uh Well Being Pregnant With Twins And Having 3 Girls Under 5 .. I Just Clean The House, The Girls Have A Paint Room And A Sandpit So They Spend Lots Of Time In There .. When They Sleep I Sleep .. We Cook , Shop, Paint And All That..

I have 3 boys all under the age of 4 and i have 1 yr leave for each so since i had my first child i have only been in work for two years.
I enjoy taking them out to the park or shopping, learning them to ride horses and my husband is at home as much as he can and loves taking me and the children out for treats.
And sometimes i look after my Sisters boys aged 3-1 and brothers boy and girls 4-7-9. I love it though i know there is 8 children but you wouldnt belive how easy it is they have similar sleeping patterns and are easy to take shopping some people look at me and probly think they are mine. Only on tuesdays and Thurdays i have them though. I love teaching my kids new things i want them to grow up to be someone and do something with they're lives.
