When my son birth mom was preggo with him the Doctor told her that my son would have brain damage from all the drugs she did and that she should have an abortion. My son is a healthy happy active little boy with no brain damage at all. If she would have listen to what the Doctor said I would not have my amazing little boy.

I'm sorry but I see no reason out there to have an abortion. I'm not God and should not have the power to choose if my babies has the right to live. That is all in God's hand.

Aborting the baby HURTS the baby- whether my child is born with a illness or not- At least it will have a chance to live.....and from what others are posting, they all seem to agree =) 100% pro-life means 100% pro-life.No excuses to murder!

Abortion, to me, is the same thing as murder. The ONLY time it's acceptable is if the mother's life is in danger. Other than that, you shouldn't have the power to kill anyone, especially an unborn child. I always think of people who have had abortions, what if their child was the next Picasso or Alber Einstien or what if they were the one who would find the cure to cancer? I urge all pregnant teens to seriously consider the options before killing a child.

In absolutely no circumstance whatsoever is abortion okay. Not in rape and not in cases of birth defect. If God did not want a child to live, he would not create it. Even if you don't believe in God, abortion is still MURDER no matter what. It is literally the KILLING of an innocent life. If the mother was raped, she should not punish the child; the rapist should be punished. 'Pro-choice' is just a cop-out of a label. It's actually 'Pro-death'. It should not even be a woman's 'choice' to have an abortion. IT IS NOT HER BODY. IT IS A SEPARATE HUMAN LIFE.

There are also many options out there if the woman does not want to or cannot keep her baby, adoption being the first and foremost. Most people have no idea how many couples are on long waiting lists to find a child to adopt because they either can't have their own children, or they simply want to adopt.

Abortion is selfish and cruel. You should read about the procedure that is done. If anyone says it doesn't hurt the baby, that is bullshit. Excuse my language, but the baby experiences extreme pain and distress during an abortion. And yes, it is a BABY. The use of the word 'fetus' is another copout.
