Well the boyfriend is a huge fan of the name Apollo Tristan Ajax but its just so much Greek in one name. So I was thinking maybe Alexander Tristan Ajax or maybe Alexander Ajax Timothy

Now, I must say, I absolutely support the daddy in his name creation. How "masculine" is his name. Since Ajax is your third name choice, it is sort of like a tucked in little secret name, that will not be used on a daily name. How enticing. I say, go with hubbys name, and gleam that your family has a hidden treasure in your sons name. You could enlongate Ajax to Ajaxyn, taking away the cleaner name issue grandma is having.
