I've always liked Evander. I didn't know that it was Greek Mythology. Leander is another (Greek/Roman Myth.) But sounds like you want the more "difficult" names. 'genevra' sure has loads.
Nothing stopping you from using Ajax as a mn. but as a first there would be teasing of course.

Well the boyfriend is a huge fan of the name Apollo Tristan Ajax but its just so much Greek in one name. So I was thinking maybe Alexander Tristan Ajax or maybe Alexander Ajax Timothy
is it still bad?
I know a lot of my names might be really bad but its just not registering
thank you for everything so far

Well, see now that we see how you want to use the name Ajax, it being a third name, brings an entire different light to your situation.
Now, I must say, I absolutely support the daddy in his name creation. How "masculine" is his name. Since Ajax is your third name choice, it is sort of like a tucked in little secret name, that will not be used on a daily name. How enticing. I say, go with hubbys name, and gleam that your family has a hidden treasure in your sons name. You could enlongate Ajax to Ajaxyn, taking away the cleaner name issue grandma is having. I say, go for it.
