so I'm starting a list of things we need for the baby and i need to know if things are a no or yes and what types of things and more stuff.

apartment (because will be moving to where Natalia's going to college)

blakets

um oh and another thing, Natalia want to breast feed what's that thing called so you can put the milk in a bottle too?

Ryan, sometimes in baby name books they will have lists at the back of things you need. sometimes, you can go to your doctor and they can give you lists. Baby stores can be helpful too.
You were talking about a breast pump.
Check out the stores, talk to other people you know who have babies and get their ideas on what brands are the best.Go on the internet, see which ones are good and which ones have had recalls.
keep it up, you are doing great. The main things they need first are parents that love them. Sounds like you already have that part down pat.

apartment - a must!!

stroller- depends on your lifestyle...Any travel system with a carseat and stroller combo works great for most anyone, but its good to have a little lightweight compact stroller to go in smaller areas!!

carseat- a must, get a 5 point harness carseat with a sun protector and head rest!!

baby carriers- maybe the ones you can strap onto yourself when you go to the store or for a walk...Not a necessity but still come in handy

crib- another must!!

bedding- a must but make sure you get extra crib sheets you can never have enough!!

blakets- again you can never have enough.. Make sure you have a variety of warm thick blankets and light comfortable blankets for changes in the seasons!!

um oh and another thing, Natalia want to breast feed what's that thing called so you can put the milk in a bottle too....Really do you not know??? Its a breast pump.. I suggest a double pump with plenty of breast pads, breastfeeding bras and the medicine to put on her nipples!!

highchair- a compact portable is the best

swing- dont get the ones that swing sideways because they are horrible and dont swing very good

bassinet- if you what them to sleep in a different room from the crib sometimes

clothes, clothes and more clothes!

towels

Diapers and Wipes

formula- just in case breast feeding doesnt work so well

medicine- gas drops tylenol, oragel

a walker- for them to move around

nose sucker for when they get sick...

a GATE!!! you always need a gate

BOTTLES...

all bath necessities

night lights

thermometer!!! a must!!

I could go on for days.. a list for a child is never ending!!

BUt the most of all you need to give your baby love!!

I do not have my list handy, but babiesrus has a good one. I would look there (or target) for the list. I have purchased many items from craigslist after reading reviews and spec on babiesrus. Some items I felt safe buying used were a swing, entertainer and jumperoo. Other items like the breast pump and formula I felt better getting new (personal preference). If your partner is serious about breast feeding, she should look into a high quality pump like the Medela "pump in style" brand vs. a manual pump.
