Re:trying so hard ... advice please By missushump 3 Years, 9 Months Ago I am also trying to get pregnant. We've just been having sex every single day, at least once, but usually twice. We like to try for once in the morning and once in the afternoon or evening. We're both teachers so we've had the summer pretty much free for making babies
Good Luck!

Re:trying so hard ... advice please By Mrshoward 3 Years, 9 Months Ago I just got pregnant on my first try, heres what i did. Hope this helps. I recorded my menstration, and determined the first day (about) of my next period, and counted 10 days previous to that. Thats when youre supposed to ovulate. I ended up ovulating about 3 days before that actual day, so if you have an idea, and try hard about 4 days before and after your expected date, you should be good to go. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Re:trying so hard ... advice please By missushump 3 Years, 9 Months Ago I haven't tried any sort of ovulation test, sorry. This is the first month we're trying, and I get really bad pains when I ovulate, so I can definitely tell when it's happening. The pain was actually so bad that we weren't able to have sex that day, but I'm hoping there was enough sperm hanging around from the day before that something happened
Most people don't get pregnant on the first try, and you've only been trying for two months, so i wouldn't worry. You already know you can have babies

By mitch17 3 Years, 9 Months Ago The best advice I can give you is....relax. With our first 2 children, it seemed like we looked at each other, and VOILA....we were pregnant. When we decided it was time for #3, we began trying, and month after month....nothing. I became so frustrated, worried and discouraged, each month brought on more and more stress for the both of us. I bought ovulation kits, and even ended up buying the $200 daily ovulation predictor. Finally, this past spring, after a year of trying we were pregnant, but I miscarried at just past 6 weeks......it was heartbreaking.
I decided not to quit though, and then, just 2 weeks ago, we got another positive test, and though we are scared, we are just trying to remain positive that this little miracle will continue to stay healthy and grow. After my miscarriage, an embryologist gave me some advice. She said the best thing you can do is keep track of your cycle, and have sex on the 12th, 14th, 16th and 18th day of your cycle. Quite contrary to popular belief, doing "it" every day actually lowers sperm counts. Here's hoping that along with my little miracle staying safe and growing, you soon have one of your own! Blessings to you!
