Well, I guess you can get pregnant after 50. I'm not absolutely positive, but anything can happen if you just try your best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I meant "naturally" get pregnant before menopause. having an egg donated is not getting pregnant on your own . I should have been more specific.
Nora I know how you feel.After my 1st 3 in 5 years, we decided no more. Afterwards I realized I had made a mistake. For me it did turn out better.
Have you checked in recent years. I know your tubes were cauterized, but maybe? otherwise my dear, enjoy those grandbabies all you can. It is a tough one. some of us, our baby desires never go away.
Finally mine did. After my number four, I knew..NO MORE.
But..there are times 22 years later I miss it still.

50 when I conceived and I thought I couldn't become pregnant. At the time my cycles were routine and my sexual appetite was heightened and the functioning of my body was typical. I took a test (over the counter) within the first few weeks that turned all blue - then another with pink lines, but by the test explanative was negative. So I figured I was just imagining I was pregnant - around 4.5 months I appeared pregnant and felt movements that exceeded anything routine. Now I'm about 25 weeks and I'm having a baby.

Can and does happen and I "LOOK" very pregnant. Everyone does a double take.

I thought it was impossible - and here I am.

Im 50 and recently became pregnant with twins, so it can and does happen. My six older children range in age from 27 to 20. I thought i was done with kids but here i go again through baby land, with 2 more. And im becoming a first time grandmother in december.

how are your children taking it? Mine have adjusted fairly well. I'm not shopping much yet - I want to wait until it is "time" and then buy things all at once rather than prepare and have something happen.

It's funny all the things the young girls say about babies as if we are buying a Chrysler or running a marathon. Children have become so elitist in so many ways instead of new little people in our lives who we have no right to question - I believe it is a gift and I am embracing every moment as a gift.
