Thanks a lot for the advice...one more thing. My baby is going to be mixed. The father is half african american. So my baby will be 75/25...Anyone know anyone with this combination...I'm not sure if he will look more white or black...not that it matters. The father likes the name "Malieke" I am not a fan at all...but i do want a name that fits the ethnicity of our baby.

Most likely I think the baby will have darker skin tone, with more African American features, but there is also slight chance that the baby will look totally white, very rare. Anyways, he will be a beautiful baby no matter what!

First off congrats on your baby boy.

I have a niece that is 75/25 (white/hispanic). We thought for sure she would have dark skin like her mama who is 50/50 and lots of black curly hair, but she was born with fair skin and hardly any hair. She has darkened down some in the last year, but she isn't any darker than my oldest who is 100% white. My niece does have big, beautiful, brown eyes. And as far as her hair goes, her hair is coming in and is brown, but she really doesn't have a lot yet and it doesn't have the curl like I thought it was going to. I guess my brother has some strong genes.

As far as names go, I like the name Malieke.
