Re:Army Wive To Be? Help By bradybunch 3 Years, 8 Months Ago I'm definitely one that has experience with the Army. My husband has been in for almost 7 years now and we are having our 6th baby. He joined two weeks after we got married, and he's been gone for 5 months for basic and AIT, and then he was gone for a total of 24 months between his two deployments to Iraq. It's very hard to handle having him go away for any length of time but I adjusted pretty well after all the sleepless nights, and all the stress of worrying about what could happen. I finally stopped asking myself how I was going to tell our kids that their daddy wasn't coming home if something happened to him while he was over there, and I started thinking about all the good things that have come from it and how proud I am that he was brave enough to take a job like this. The kids took awhile to adjust, but over time, and with a lot of attention they actually adjust better than I ever thought they would. My suggestion to you, would be to think more about the positive, and to just stand beside him no matter what he decides. You always think you can't handle something until you are faced with it and then you realize that you're much stronger than you ever imagined. WOMEN ARE MEANT TO BE AMAZING!!!

Re:Army Wive To Be? Help By bradybunch 3 Years, 8 Months Ago It's so easy to have faith when everything is going right/perfect in our lives, but having faith when the times get rough is what really matters. That shows true faith. Always try to focus on the positive and trust that everything is going to work out.

Re:Army Wive To Be? Help By briiana 3 Years, 8 Months Ago I'm a Army Wife, and to be honest it has it's ups and downs, and it's been one heck of a ride for me. My husband got injured in Iraq, and has been home since March 08 and it has been one of the hardest, and life changing experience that i ever been through. He has been diagnosed with PTSD and TBI, and we are currently in San DIego, going through his rehabilitation.I;m also 4 months pregnant. The thing you should be worried about it exactly what MOS he is going to choose. MOS as his job in the army, My husband was Infantry, and it required him being away for training the majority of the time, i mean i hardly ever saw him. So tell your husband to choose wisely, theres some jobs that don't require much, like not putting his life at risk and theres some duty stations that never even deploy. I've learned as i go. I wish we had learned this 4 years ago, when he joined. Theres so many good jobs to choose from also. One thing as a wife, we got to stand by our husband and support them as much as we can. Through the good the bad and the ugly. You will face alot of obstacles,
