Well, when I was trying to have a baby girl, I read that you record when you are ovulating (by temp). Then you have sex 72 hours before you will ovulate. Male sperm live a shorter duration, while the female sperm will hide out, and slowly arrive at the egg, so if you ovulate 72 hours after having last intercourse, all male sperm will have died, and the female sperm may still possible come into contact with the egg. You have to have sex 72 hours before, then no sex at all, until after ovulation occurs.

We tried this, but later learned my husband only had male sperm.

Also guys that drink alot of alcohol, have fewer male sperm, apparently - thats what my doctor told me anyway.

No there is no such procedure. God gives you what he has planned for
you & there is nothing u can do about it but keep having babies .
Just be thankful u are pregnant & can have children because alot of
people can't & have to wait on adoption agencies.

wow, really? Some men only have male sperms? Does that mean some men could also only have female sperms? That is very interesting to know.

Anyways, I have heard of some procedure involved sperms separation, namely separating the male and female sperms, and the pick the ones you want for fertilization. A Taiwanese actress was mentioning about this on her show, and that she wanted to try having a boy by that procedure.

I have heard of something to do with your systems acidity/alkalinity at the time of conception affecting the sex of the baby, but the sperm is what actually determines it. I am not advocating this but have heard of it. If it worked I'd have a girl every time just for the cute little dresses and Maryjanes! Just kidding! I'm actually pregnant with my second son right now! And I can't wait to meet him!
