I know who the father of my baby is 100%, but he doesn't want to be involved in the baby's life. Instead my parents are going to help me raise the baby. We were thinking about puting that the father is unknown on the birth certificate. What does everyone think about this??? Please tell me your opinions, they would help alot!! Thanks in advance, Tristen

No-because then youll never get child support from him when hes old enough (if he doesnt already) to get a job.. put his name on it even though he doesnt deserve it right now, you deserve some financial help!

No I would not because later on you could end up with major custody problems and its not worth it Id just put unknown on the birth certificate because the baby is worth more than child support

yeah but if the dad later (even next week) decides to be in the babys life, all he has to do is get a dna test done anyways..besides he IS the dad- the baby desrves the dads name on their- and shes young sounding-she may need financial help.

I wouldn't, If he is on as a sub contractor for example you may loose benefits & the child support agency cant make him pay. Well that happens in Australia. Also if you have him on & want to get bub a passport & cant find him or he's difficult it will just be a pain in the ass.
