Re:Bottlefeeding at 3 By RipWyatt I love you 4eva 3 Years, 7 Months Ago Oh and they wear pull ups at night , other than that they will got to the toilet whenever they need. I just don't wanna have to be making warm milk to put them to bed while having 2 other babies crying for something

Re:Bottlefeeding at 3 By Sydney Raye 3 Years, 7 Months Ago i would try to get them off the bottle before the others come it will make it easier my dr said to hide all the bottles and pretend that you are looking for them in the cupboards and tell them they are all gone make it look like you are helping it should only take a couple of days usually 3 also my daughter refused to drink milk out of anything but a bottle so she didnt drink milk for like 6 months (stubborn child) Dr said just give her other milk products like cheese and yogurt to make up for it and keep trying to get her to try the milk in a cup

Re:Bottlefeeding at 3 By DONE GOODBYE genevra 3 Years, 7 Months Ago Make a game out of it: Tell your sons that you need to help out the fairies, and they need all the bottles in the house, to clean them for the new babies, that are in your tummy. Give them each a Gift Baggie, with handles on it, and let them run around the house, and find all the bottles for you. For each bottle they give you, have a little toy, ie, mini car, tiny stuffed animal, a Key chain with a cool thing on it, little hammer, anything "different" in exchange for each bottle they give you.
Rubbermaid makes these little bottle type of sippy cup, show them that you and TJ (get bigger ones for you two) have new cups, and give them their smaller one. Whoa, see, we all have "these new cups" and the fairies will wash these bottles now, for our new babies. ..........Oh yeah, the little boys love doing this. Throw in a cool toy, that they can take to bed with their "new cup". Show them, where you place your cup, beside the bed, and soon they can put theirs there as well. See, you just have to divert, redirect, be creative, and they will go with it. Try it, and tell us how it goes. ------- Just believe in Fairies Brieal, for this one thing. Oh, those fairies have helped me with many, many things, while raising my 3 sons. - Genevra

Re:Bottlefeeding at 3 By susieqzee 3 Years, 7 Months Ago At three years old, they are sharp enough for Mum and dad to sit them down and tell them they get to be big boys with big boy cups.Genevra and the others all had good ideas. There are many ways to do it, and you know the children best and what they will go for.
One thing is, milk at night is not good on their teeth, as it leaves a coating and once ready for bed and brushing their teeth they should have nothing else. If they need a drink make it water. IF they have to have something by their bed, make it a small amount of water. But as long as they are getting nice warm bottles of milk at bed time they will need the pull ups. as you cut back on their evening fluids, you will find they urinate less, and soon, no more pull ups either. Your babes are growing up. Now they get to be the Big Boys, and the new ones will be the babes. Good luck hon!!
