Re:Baby starter kit By susieqzee 3 Years, 7 Months Ago Vaseline, lotion, baby shampoo and soap, baby nail clippers, cotton balls, cotton swabs(Qtips), alcohol, aspirator(that sucks the boogies out), powder, crib sheets and blankets.
Here is a hint. If you buy a bassinette, save money on the little sheets that you wont use for very long, and use a pillow case. The mattress slips right into it. Undershirts, nighties(they work so nice for newborns. Baby socks/booties. Whew...all I can think of right now.

I was regisered at three different places.

Re:Baby starter kit By CatB 3 Years, 7 Months Ago It's a little scary to think you might forget something, but remember, the stores stay open after baby is born!
Focus on making sure you have everything to take baby home ie. receiving blankets, nappies (diapers), vests, babygrows, booties, large bag, wetwipes, dummy, babycarrier etc. Then think about everything you will need on your first night at home ie. Crib, bedding, bath, towels, baby soap/lotion/creams, baby monitor, bottles. Think further to the first time your son/daughter gets a fever ie. Thermometer, medication, gripe water. Think too about things to entertain baby...toys, classical music etc. Then take a deep breath and start to enjoy the process, and remember that while we may be mothers we are also only human!
