Re:How accurate is Ultrasound on finding out genders? By Sydney Raye 3 Years, 7 Months Ago most of them are pretty good now but its still best if you start buying things to keep the receipts just in case

By Jassy09 3 Years, 7 Months Ago Hey, my doctor told me they have found it to be 90% correct, so they get it wrong in 10% of cases. 90% is still pretty good.

By leftAndGone 3 Years, 7 Months Ago Thanks for the input, everyone!
My mother has bought a good amount of blue clothing for the baby. I just suggested her to get some more other variety of colors, in case my baby turns out to be a girl. It is just too much blue after all, even for a boy. And I guess I will hold onto my robot fetish >.< on buying toys, until the baby is born. LOL, but i guess no matter itz a boy or girl, he/she might end up being a robot lover anyways, since dad loves making 3-D robot graphics, and mom is a robot figures collector.

Re:How accurate is Ultrasound on finding out genders? By briiana 3 Years, 7 Months Ago Wellllllllllll, your not sounding silly at all, now let me tell you what happend with my first son, i had went to my ultrasound appointment, the umbilical cord was in between the legs, but the Dr. was determined when the baby opened it's legs that it was a girl, even though the cord was in the way Well then before i turned 8 mos. i went to those 3d 4d ultrasound place, to see my baby. Well it turned out that the first thing we saw was my lil boys private parts, his legs we;re all open, i was soo shocked, I had the nursery room all decorated with pink and the whole care bear theme. Everything girl stuff.
Now with my second pregnancy, same thing, my baby is being shy and stubborn and doesnt want to be seen, and once again the Dr, is leaning more towards a girl, but didnt confirm So it could still be a boy. I just havent had that luck lol of finding out right there and then. My babies love giving me a hard time. lol..........

By leftAndGone 3 Years, 7 Months Ago Wow, really, Brilana. Guess we really gotta be prepared for surprises then!
Btw, I got another question: when do you have your last ultrasound before delivery? I had one around 20th week, and will Dr. assign me to have one more?

Re:How accurate is Ultrasound on finding out genders? By puck 3 Years, 7 Months Ago they are not supposed to tell you unless they are 100% sure. but they can be wrong. my first baby i was told i was having a boy. and boy was i surprised when a girl came out. sent mom on an emergency shopping trip.
so my other 2, even when i was told they were boys, i only bought neutral clothes for going home, then went shopping afterwards. they were actually boys.
