Oh my goodness I could not agree more. I think I posted something to this effect on one of the abortion threads. Only it was more passive because I just didn't have the energy to say what I felt.

I seriously think some of these ladies need to step away from the keyboard and spend some time with their kids.

I was just feeling like there was a lot of people attacking others on many of the treads. I normally don't post things myself but I felt this was necessary.

There is really no place for any rudeness on this forum. We are here to discuss babies and pregnancy - a very innocent topic. We urge all members to respect each other and give constructive criticism, not personal attacks. Your words have great power and should be chosen with care.

Regarding the abortion thread, I will quote Justins1favmom:
"...a couple of months back there were two girls that were pregnant and in hard situations and was considering abortion. Well after asking our advice and us telling them how we feel and what we think of abortions they BOTH chose not to abort and I honestly felt good and felt like we have saved two lives! And these were two different girls who didnt even know eachother!"

The thread will remain on the forum, as it is directly related to pregnancy and has been of help to forum users. This is an extremely sensitive topic and is bound to strike controversy. Your freedom of expression is very important, however we urge users to post constructive replies that foster a positive exchange of ideas.

I can't remain a part of a forum that is governed by people who I feel are not being impartial. There are some nasty things being said in that abortion thread that need to be taken down, it's quite obviouse. And yet there they remain....

I have seen far less offensive things be taken down for fear they may cause drama or controversy or were deemed to be 'rude.' How is some of that stuff not being rude? Can someone please explain this to me?

So. As long as we are free to express our opinions I shall express mine. And obviously abortion has a permanent place here because.. well... I'm not sure what it's doing here. I was trying to be a bigger person about all this and ignore that crap but I just don't feel like it anymore. I will go and express my opinion all over this forum and see how far that gets me. If my stuff gets deleted and 'Pro-Life' things remain, then I guess we'll know exactly how this site operates.

i am not here to argue. i did not say i am for or against abortion, just that there is a time and place for everything and this is certainly not it. im afraid im going to have to go with buttercup on this one. this site used to be light-hearted and fun, but its turning in to a lynch mob, half are the mob, the other half the monster. i can not and will not take part in a pointless argument. everybody is entitled to their opinion, and this one should be kept personal.
