wow, pirates seem to be popular this year. my 3 year old daughter is going as a pirate, and im undecided for the baby. we were thinking maybe a bat (my mother-in-law will make the costume)

I will be painting my belly like a Jac-o-lantern lol. And my dog just broke one of his front legs and has a cast/splint thing so he will be a peg legged pirate!

I found a cute puppy dog costume on ebay for my son, 23 months. It came in last week, and is so cute on him! It is brown, with black on the tail, and open at the bottom and is sleeveless, so I have black pants and a black long sleeve shirt for him to wear underneath. Then it has a hat with long floppy black ears. I plan to paint his nose black, too. I didn't know at first where I would find a costume, but ebay has alot of costumes, and we only paid 10.85 for this costume (that included the shipping) so I thought that was a good deal because brand new it probably would have been at least 20.00 plus tax.

Morgann will be 23 1/2 mo. for halloween and she will be a Mine-o-saur. It is a charactor in one of her books about sharing. We found a dinosaur costume, which turned out to be a dragon, that peeked her interest once we refered to it as a Mine-o-saur. It is adorable on her and very warm, fleece from head to toe.

My son is 16 months, and he is going to be a Monkey for Halloween, it's a real cute costume, it has an attached banana to it, and it's a very warm costume,since it's been a bit cold out here. Last year he was a turtle, which was given, as a gift to him.

Wow pirate does seem to be pretty popular I think I may just go with the kangaroo it is very cute and has a pouch for a stuffed kangaroo to go in it. It actually had one but when my hubbys aunt gave it to me she accidently left it at home so maybe I can find one somewhere (dont know where tho) And if I go anywhere like shopping way earlier I'll probablly dress him in the pirate to go out in. Last year he was only like four months old and had like four or five costumes he wore them all (well just to take pictures in) but that night he dressed as tigger.
