if the bio father says that he wants to be in his childs life, you should probably let him if you feel it is safe. i say this because your daughter may grow up and blame you for his immaturity. if you give him every opportunity to be in her life, you can let your daughter know that it was his choice and he or che could never blame you for his irresponsibility.

Been there doing that! I have 3 boys and 1 girl on the way. My second son was not planned. His father is similar it sounds to the guy you mentioned. However, because he was not at the hospital at the time my son was born he could not be placed on the birth certificate. If you wanted to you could leave the father blank. Therefor as the child gets older the only way this guy can have contact or any sort of parental right would be to go through the courts to get things done. Most guys like them would not spend the time or the money to do this. My son is now 6 1/2 has never met his bio donor and probably never will. I have since had my youngest got married and have # 4 on the way. Yes my son every now and again will ask and i just let him know his dad (my husband) loves him more than anything. He will always be there for him and his bio donor isn't in the picture for a reason and that its better that way. For right now it works for him. Good luck!
