My friend jast had a baby in the beginning of October. Very unfortunately, the baby was born with a fatal disease called Trisomy18. 90% of babies born with this disease pass not long after birth, and if they do survive, most don't make it past their first birthday. I'm asking that you keep this baby and her family in your prayers , willing her to get strong and giving her mother the strength to get through this no matter what the outcome is.

she is in my prayers.A good friend had a trisomy 13 baby 20 months ago. Her little girl had a similar prognosis, but is now thriving at almost 2 years old. There is hope. Tell her not to let her baby be just a statistic to the doctors, there is help and support out there. There is a great Trisomy 13 website www.livingwithtrisomy13.com. It provides info and support. There may be a similar one for Trisomy18 or maybe the people at that site could guide your friend to one that can help her.I truly believe that children with these disorders are a blessing. They bring so much love and touch so many lives. They are truly angels among us. Your friend and her baby are in my prayers, may God bless them.
