Ever since I was young I always wanted to adopt!,,I still do!
I just want to know why it cost soo much just to adopt a child in the first place? we are all willing to raise the child and love that child,why make it cost so much when raiseing kids is already costly?
If they didn;t make it cost so much maybe alot more families would like to adopt.It doesn;t cost anything to put a child up for adoption why should it cost lots to adopt them??

It makes sense that the cost is high because most orphanages (sp) in 3rd world countries are extremely poor. You paying to adopt a child goes towards feeding, housing, and raising the other children in still the orphanage.

In the USA, probably Australia and other developed countries, the $ goes towards foster care I would think.

IMO, it would be well worth it to pay for adopt. I am also thinking about adopting

The government of the contry should be paying to feed and cloth the kids,,I am not sayin we shouldn.t have to just not pay as much,,people have to pay to go on a plane to get the child and bring them back,thats alot of money right there! It would be easier for people who don;t have kids and that can;t have kids to be able to have one. I think it should just cost less!!!

Yes, I agree, ideally the government should be paying for their orphaned children....but I guess that's why they're called 3rd world countries

I think that there government need to bring their contries up to date, If they do more for families that are poor,the people wouldn't have to give up their children and there wouldn't be soo many children that grow up with out a family,,its sad that their are alot of kids out there that need a home,,i wish i was a billionair i would take them all home!!!
