I'm 25 and my husband is 42. I had always thought I'd have kids in my mid-late twenties, and that's how it's working out! I don't think I would have been able to do that with someone younger. The guys I dated who are my age weren't ready for kids, and when I met my husband he already had a good job and owned a home, so we can afford for me to stay at home with the babies. Plus, he's totally cute!
Things just work out how they work out. Even though you are young you will still love your babies and be a great Mommy. I don't think age matters as much as love... obviously... I married someone 16 years older than me! Because you are young you will have more time with your babies and more energy to play with them. I sometimes worry that our kids will think my husband is "old" because he'll be in his 60s when they're in college.

We are both 37 and are having our 2nd baby. We had our first when we were 35. We think this is the perfect age to begin a family. We have accomplished a lot and are looking forward to our childrens lives, and then onto retirement.
