Re:Thoughts on abortion? Pro-choice or pro-life? (1 viewing) (1) Guest
Thoughts on abortion? Pro-choice or pro-life? By Melanie0205 3 Years, 7 Months Ago Hey everyone, I just wanted to know everyone's stand as far as abortion, just to see all sides of the story. Personally, I am pro-life. I always think, if that mother had kept the baby, would that have been the person who came up with the cure for cancer? Or became the next da Vinci or Picasso? The ONLY circumstance, in my opinion, that the mother let the baby go, is if the mother's life is in danger. Anyways, I just wanted everyone's stand on abortion and their reasons for having that opinion. Thanks!

Re:Thoughts on abortion? Pro-choice or pro-life? By Emily_G 3 Years, 7 Months Ago Oh dear...lol.
I am definitly pro-life and anti-murder of any kind. I believe that God loves the unborn very much, and aborting them is a great sin. I do not believe in abortion under any circumstances. If I am ever in the sitatuaion where my life was in danger with being pregnant......I would pray a lot. I also think that doctors who perform and women who get abortions should be charged by law.

By Carolina 3 Years, 7 Months Ago I am pro-choice. I believe a woman has a right to do whatever she wants with her body and its nobody's business. I think abortion is acceptable in all cases and a woman needs no reason other than she doesn't want to have a baby to get one. If a woman is not ready to be a parent, she doesn't have to be, and its better to have a baby when you are ready and able to support that child than have a baby and not even be able to provide it a good life.
And no, I don't believe in the whole "give it up for adoption" thing. Why would anyone want to waste 9 months of their lives just to give the baby up for adoption? I honestly don't care if other people are unable to have children biologically, its not my duty or responsibility to give them a child. Also, Who cares if the baby would've grown up to find the cure for cancer? There are "what ifs" in every situation... What if the baby would've grown up to be the next Hitler? I had an abortion in the past and I don't regret it.

QUOTE: No offense, but God and religion has nothing to do with the law. It would be ridiculous to make abortion illegal because of religious reasons. Separation of church and state! Just because you are a christian doesn't mean everyone else in this country is so you can't make laws according to your religion. I am an agnostic so obviously I don't believe that "God loves the unborn very much and aborting them is a great sin". But thank god we live in a free country and abortion will always be legal Last Edit: 2008/10/29 16:06 By Carolina.
