My brother's girlfriend has been sick the last two or three times she has been at my mom's house. This past Saturday at my niece's birthday party she was nauseated and complaining of her stomach hurting or being upset and had been eating crackers. My brother said she was pregnant (a few times actually) but she denies it and then he denies it and passes it off as a joke. Now she has quit smoking. I think if she is pregnant that my brother is passing it off as a joke first to see how my parents will react (he already has two kids). Oh, I forgot to mention that my mom had been telling me about baby stuff in some magazines and said we need another baby in the family (from me not my brother) and my brother kinda of nudged his girlfriend. Then Saturday when she was sick my mom saw her talking to my brother and patting her belly. After my brother said she was pregnant, he then said no the doctor thought she had an ovarian cyst. Do you get nauseated with these? Then he told my husband that they thought she had an ulcer. It sounds like they're covering up the fact that she is pregnant. What do you think?

It does sound kind of suspicious to me too
Maybe they want to wait till she is further along before they announce it to be sure that she does not have a miscarrage

I think they're acting this way because he already has two kids that my mom and dad pretty much take care of with my help on the weekends and then their moms have them during the week.

yeah they could be nervous to tell too especially if they already have their hands full

He has a son by his ex-wife and a daughter by an ex-girlfriend.

I agree this does seem a bit suspicious but 'm not really sure what you could do about it.
