I'm due to have a C-Section in about 3 weeks I was booked in for it about a month ago. I had a "normal" delivery last time so this will be my first C-section.

Oh and Marion2 Thank you...it's woman like you that make me realise that I am doing what is right for the health of my baby and myself.

After having one I wouldn't do it any other way! They aren't anything anymore just a little cut and mine scare is gone almost... You will do just fine and they doctor's will take good care of you!

lowemamma is right! with my last c-section my bub was born at 2:17pm on the tuesday and i left the hospital at about 9:00 the next morning wich is faster than alot of natural births! good luck

My first one wasn't planned. I went in for one of my weekly appointments and because I had yet to dilate he decided to do another ultrasound. We discovered how big my daughter was and he decided to do a c-section. He called me later that afternoon and told me to be at the hospital 3 days later

With my second one I've known since my first appointment the date I was going to have my c-section, which by the way is Wednesday, yay me . So to answer your question it depends on the circumstances. My first wasn't going to be but ended up being better for both of us to have had the c-section and I'm sure it will be the same for this one.
