Maybe, depends on the movie and on the child's maturity.

Ok I grew up in a house that if my mom watched it I watched it. I was exsposed to a lot of sex and violence at a younge age. But I am not my mother. My daughter dosent watch anthing rated higher than G. She is almost 7. I also keep a close eye on what she watches ZThere are shows on Disny that she is not allowed to watch. I just have strict opnion on what kids watch. my brother is 14. and I have to preview anything he watches. just me though

I'm not a parent..but in a way a BIG NO 'cause i don't want to be answering questions to those intimate scenes..how can you ever explain?? but in a way, if one has brought up a child such that he or she knows whatever is happening in the movie is not meant to be imitated and shared with friends on what they seen at their age..i don't think it should be a problem..maybe cause i'm not a parent and still a teen..so you don't really need to take my post into mind.. cause this is all just in my opinion

I watched Sophie's Choice with my youngest sister when she was 14. It's rated R, though. There's certain difference between movies like that and those like, for example, American Pie. At least I think so.
