Kind of different but sort of the same, I've also never understood why if someones name is William, they get called Bill.... It doesnt sound the same at all.

People rarely do like the baby names people pick out and are not shy about saying it or scrunching up their noses. And it is frustrating. That being said, it doesn't mean you can't have an opinion.

My opinion on William Jaxon Bruce is that it does seem like they just couldn't make up their mind, or want to make sure he's got lots of options in case he doesn't like any of them. I mean, I like some pretty strange names but all of those names are really common...there's just a lot of them and then you throw in an alternate spelling and a nickname- a little strange.

So yeah, you're not wrong to scratch your head on that one, but in the end you're doing the right thing by not questioning it to the future mom.

I like Jaxon Bruce..just drop the William.. name him Jaxon Bruce .. call him Jack and have a nice day hahaha its only discussion..have fun with it..no need to get our feathers ruffled

Well I never really understood why people were named something and then they go by their middle name. Both of my brothers are like this, Steven Trent and Bradley River but they have different moms. And my mom's name is Joy Yvonne. I asked my mom why she didn't just name River, River and she said Bradley River just sounded better.

My best friend goes by her middle name... But thats because she hates her first name (Rita). And I hate it too, so I much prefer to call her Amber.
