okay well im 12 as well and i dont do any of that stuff but then agian i act older then my age so im not shure and i wouldnt dare let my mom pick my clothes because my mom hasn't a sence of style but i would say she is a ton lke one of my friends who is the same age so i think she is normal

your right, some girls at 12 act like adults. They are sneaking around, having sex and getting into trouble. Thank goodness yours isnt. Your daughter sounds like a 12 year old girl who was raised right. Congratulations! I wish all of mine had been that good!

i wish mine had stayed Children longer. would you believe i had a fight with my 14 year olds because i wouldn't let them sneak into the club tomorrow night for new years.. i catch them sneaking out to parties and the boys they like are usually 20+ and what scares me most is those boys seem to like them back... i want them to be babies again they are growing up to fast so enjoy your 12 year old being a 12 year old while it lasts

Sounds like your 12 yr old has a twin sister who also still enjoys being a kid; instead of an older sister as an emulation pattern.
Continue to help her enjoy being young, and don't rush her to grow up!

It's actually refreshing to hear about a 12 year old who is actually acting like a 12 year old. One is only a child for so long, it's best to enjoy it while it lasts. I think it's great that she's not in a rush to grow up.
